Our High Holy Day offerings will be split between two Israeli initiatives, Christian and Jews United for Israel as well as an Israeli charity selected by the UMJC. More details to follow during announcements at High Holy Day services.
In addition, the Board recently approved two new Tikkun Olam initiatives. The first was brought to our attention by Teresa Alvarez-Diez for the Fistula Foundation which helps women in Ethiopia, as well as the Congo, Afghanistan, Somalia, and Angola. Please see Teresa for details.
In addition, we will be supporting Stacey and Amber Rose Stevens who will be walking in Boston on September 26th for autism. Please see Stacey or Amber Rose for details on how to support this cause.
