Whether I'm asked to handle a request for deeply needed prayer, a life "reality" prayer or an answered prayer, either on the Prayer Chain or to be included in the weekly Shabbat Bulletin, I feel very humbled and blessed that HaShem has put me on this path. I take prayer, and the needs of our congregation, very seriously.

The prayer chain has its place for urgent, timely or informative prayer. However, please don't forget about the prayer bulletin that is prepared and available every Shabbat. It serves the purpose of asking for prayer from the entire congregation and requires us all to come together and pray continually for a member until that prayer is in someway answered or resolved.

Please feel free to send me either kind of prayer. We all have needs, and as a congregation praying together can be a very strong spiritual and emotional bond. We all realize how powerful and moving prayer is. It connects us to HaShem, opening ourselves to His Divine presence.
